 FLOAT VALVE ASSEMBLIES |
These toggle-style valves have no pistons, o-rings, diaphragms or pivot points that can wear out and cause overfills. Assemblies are compact, so they take up less space than a standard mechanical valve with a comparable inlet diameter. The control mechanism is a Polyvinylchloride (PVC) washer seated on the pressure side of a stainless steel orifice that varies its effective area inversely to the applied float arm deflection. The 4” diameter stainless steel float has a 60-turn threaded retainer for precision control when adjusting water level settings up to 3” above the inlet port.
The free-floating ball on these assemblies moves independently, so the arm stays below the surface of
the water. This prevents chatter and water hammer when floats are jostled by surface waves. Use with water pressure from 10 to 125 psi @ 70°F. A zinc ballast stops metal erosion and plaster discoloration. All assemblies are for in-tank mounting in closed and open tanks. Ideal for swimming pools. |

Float is stainless steel with threaded insert. Valves have 1/2" PVC 90° street elbow with PVC reducer bushings. 1” bushing is brass. Body is PVC. Rod and arm are brass. Float retainer is 1/4 -20 brass.
Connections: – NPT Female side inlet and bottom outlet.
