The Poolboss™ is used to maintain both the water level and the chlorine level of a pool, spa, or pond automatically and unattended. When the Poolboss is removed from the box, it is easily assembled by attaching a garden hose to the supply pipe and turning the water on. This requires no tools. It comes pre-assembled with two life-size, floating ducks. One mallard hen is tethered to one mallard drake (male) which is attached to a float retainer and a float rod. The hen automatically adds the right amount of chlorine to keep a pool clean and safe – holds any size chlorine tablet up to 3”. The drake automatically adds the right amount of water to keep the pool full at all times. A zinc insert (in-the-line) stops metal erosion and plaster discoloration.

The water stays on when Poolboss™ is in the pool. As the drake floats down, the water turns a valve on. When the drake floats to its highest point, the water shuts the valve off. The valve is a patented toggle valve which maintains the water level within 1/100th of an inch! The customer can rotate the drake clockwise while it floats in the pool to raise the pool to any desired level (typically the halfway point on the tile or the skimmer). The hen swims around the drake in a light breeze.
